Top 3 Things You Can Do To Maintain Your Search Momentum

To maintain your momentum until you reach your goal of finding a career you love or your next great job you should:

#1 - Make a Plan & Stick to It
“Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.” –Tom Landry (winner of 2 Super Bowl titles and coach of the Dallas Cowboys through 20 consecutive winning seasons, an unbroken NFL record to this day)

#2 - Reward Yourself
“Most people never celebrate even their biggest successes and then wonder why their life is not moving forward. Imagine, if you continuously gave a gift and the person never noticed or said, ‘thank you.’ Would you still keep giving? Would you have any enthusiasm for the giving?” –Terah Stearns (author of Imagine the Power, Love Whispers All the Answers You Seek, and Get a Job Now!)

#3 - Stay Inspired
“Time is limited, so I better wake up every morning fresh and know that I have just one more chance to live this particular day right, and to string my days together into a life of action and purpose.” –Lance Armstrong (cancer survivor, author and 7-time winner of the Tour de France)

“People with goals succeed because they know where they are going.” –Earl Nightingale (US Marine who survived Pearl Harbor and went on to become an award-winning author, motivational speaker, radio broadcaster and Radio Hall of Fame inductee)

Happy Goal Reaching!

  1. Hi Jay or Angela,

I just found your blog and now I’m commenting on two posts in under 5 minutes. This is great stuff. I always like to read how others inform others to keep momentum. We can all see that staying inspired and finding a purpose is more easily said than done.

Thank you again for keeping this out there for people. It’s wonderful to see that people do care and are passionate about helping people find their own place in the world.

    Cheers,
