Homeless To Super Bowl

I’m sure you may have seen many unfortunate homeless people asking for change at stoplights or on corners. Ted Williams was born in New York, and after having issues with drugs & alcohol he found himself homeless on the streets of Cleveland, Ohio. He created a sign that read:

I have a God given gift of voice. I’m an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. Please! Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you and God Bless you/Happy Holidays.”

If you haven’t listened to story, listen below. It is amazing and will surprise you:

The news keeps on getting better for Ted Williams. His voice has brought him some great job offers. He has created voice spots for Kraft, and was offered a full-time position by the Cleveland Cavaliers (and their owners Quicken Loans who offered to pay his mortgage on a home). The New York Post is reporting that Ted has been offered the opportunity to make a five-second appearance on an ad that will air during the Super Bowl! Do you believe Ted Williams is using his gift as it was intended to be used?!?!??

This story should remind us that it isn’t only our work that benefits when we use our gifts as they are intended — It will transform our life.
