Marny Lifshen, author of “Some Assembly Required: A Networking Guide For Women” joined us on our last Job Search Boot Camp Show on Saturday. Marny is an author, speaker, and a nationally recognized expert on professional womens networking and professional branding.
Marny joined us to talk about her book and networking. There is a difference between the way men and women network. Women face challenges since they are generally the minority in a setting. They are sometimes the only female on a board of directors or on a business trip. Women do have a distinct advantages since they can multi-task generally better than their male counterparts. They are also strong at maintaining relationships, but they struggle at leveraging those relationships.
